What i dont understand what u mean here. I think Ele/war is good i just thought of the melee part. the stances could be a good benift.

I'm still new to the game, but my first choice for a build was an e/n using energy, air, and blood. I have just reached the shiv arena but I logged a TON of time in the first arena.

I've had a lot of fun with the build so far. It is very viable in pvp so far, but that was only the first arena and then a little bit in Shiv (like 5-10 fights) so it may not work out. We will see.

Why do I like it so far? It does good damage, I like that central nuker role, and you do get some ways to stay alive. Mesmer was an option for me as well, but I already have that as second on my ranger and I think the two might be too much pressure on your energy pool.

I recommend necro as your second profession but that is only because I love to play it. Pick one you love as well and you'll be happy.

There is no "best" secondary profession. It all depends on what exactly you want to do with the character (shutdown, pure nuker/spiker, a dash of defense, supporting healer, etc).

In the future, please read all the rules before posting, and please post in the right forum.

And please please please use the search button. Reading a few of the guides in the New Players Center as well as reading a few pre-existing threads from the large pool of active threads around here should give you at least a starting idea.

Good luck on finding what you want.
